When we braid our hair to dance in Pow Wow, we remind ourselves that each strand of hair represents our Mind, Body and Spirit. With each loop, we become more centered and ready to enter into the dance circle. When all three parts are tied together, we become stronger human beings.
We need water in all three parts of ourselves.
